Colliers Wood Chorus is a 75-strong community choir which sings all types of music from classical and world to pop. Our rehearsals are lively social occasions and our performances range from sing-songs in the pub to appearances in front of several hundred at the South Bank Centre. The choir is open to all ages and abilities, with no requirement to be able to read music. Enthusiasm and commitment are the qualifications you need. As the choir is very popular, we usually have a waiting list for all voice groups, and give priority to residents from the Colliers Wood ward (map in this document), as we maintain strong links with the local community. News19th April: The new website is live - finally! Please send pictures to add to our past events section. We will credit you. Our appearance at the South Bank Centre as part of the Voicelab Welcomes series was so successful that we have been invited back for their grand finale on 9th May - one of only eight groups out of the 150 or so who have taken part! Our slots are from 1:30-2:00 in the Ballroom (last time's venue), and 2:15-2:30 on the Level 2 Terrace (Riverside). There may also be a mass choir sing-song at about 6:30.
